Hello! I have exciting news! I've started up a new business casting expecting mother's bellies! I am located in Midway Commons Neighborhood on Fort Meade.
Why should I have my belly casted?
You might be able to take photos of your growing belly but casting it will allow you to see, touch and truly remember your precious bump with a 3-D image that will last! And... in all honesty, you will regret it if you don't before its gone. Capture your pregnancy by casting it!
What is the casting process and how long does it take?
The expecting mother will sit in a comfortable chair provided by myself or one of your choice. I will apply a petroleum jelly and baby oil mixture to the belly and parts of the torso to create a light barrier between the skin and plaster. I will then apply wet plaster bandage strips to the belly and torso, casting its shape (no stretchmarks will show, just the round form of your belly). The entire process and drying time in under an hour. This reduces the length of time the Mother-to-be is required to sit in a fixed position. After the initial cast is removed from the body an additional layer of plaster will be added to the interior side for extra support.
Where is the casting done?
I have two available options: I can come to you so that you are in the privacy and comforts of your own home. Or, for those mom's who have a busier household and would like a quiter place to enjoy the experience, are welcome to come to my home.

Package A: Artistically Simple- $30 Casting mold as is off the body with interior support. Take home that day
Package B: Baby Smooth- $40 Casting mold is sanded and clear coat applied for glossy finish. Available 2-3 days after casting.
Package C: Classic/Faux- $50-60 Casting mold is sanded and either painted one solid color ($50) or faux painted in wood, marble, bronze, or antiqued option ($60). Available 2-3 days after casting.
Package D: Personalized Delux- $75-125 Casting is sanded and painted with a personal design selected by you. Design will be planned and sketched prior to painting. The price will be determined by the detail of the design and will not exceed the $125 maximum. Availability timeline will also be determined by the detail of design.
